WHAT IS PUBG
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole. The game is based on previous mods that were created by Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene for other games, inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale, and expanded into a standalone game under Greene's creative direction. In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others while avoiding getting killed themselves. The available safe area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.

PUBG was first released for Microsoft Windows via Steam's early access beta program in March 2017, with a full release in December 2017. The game was also released by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One via its Xbox Game Preview program that same month, and officially released in September 2018. PUBG Mobile, a free-to-play mobile game version for Android and iOS, was released in 2018, in addition to a port for the PlayStation 4. A version for the Stadia streaming platform was released in April 2020. PUBG is one of the best-selling, highest-grossing and most-played video games of all time. The game has sold over 70 million copies on personal computers and game consoles as of 2020, in addition to PUBG Mobile accumulating 1 billion downloads as of March 2021 and grossing over $4.3 billion on mobile devices as of December 2020.
PUBG received positive reviews from critics, who found that while the game had some technical flaws, it presented new types of gameplay that could be easily approached by players of any skill level and was highly replayable. The game was attributed to popularizing the battle royale genre, with a number of unofficial Chinese clones also being produced following its success. The game also received several Game of the Year nominations, among other accolades. PUBG Corporation has run several small tournaments and introduced in-game tools to help with broadcasting the game to spectators, as they wish for it to become a popular esport. The game has also been banned in some countries for allegedly being harmful and addictive to younger players.

Users who have already downloaded the early access version can update the app to get the official version. Currently, the game is available only for Android smartphone users. There is no need to download the Battlegrounds Mobile India APK from third-party stores. This also means that iPhone users will have to wait until Krafton announces the Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS app. We can expect an official announcement on the same very soon.
Meanwhile, Android users who have downloaded the early access version can visit the app’s Play Store listing and update it. Once downloaded, you can collect the Constable Set (permanent), which is a reward for 10 million downloads from the in-game events section. Krafton has also extended the duration to collect the ‘India ka Battlegrounds’ gift reward, 1 million and 5 million downloads reward till August 19.
The game is very similar to PUBG Mobile with a few changes here and there. The early impressions suggest that aren't many changes in the new game and the ones that have been made are cosmetic like green blood and fully clothed characters. One of the egregious changes however seems to be is the new "Gameplay Management System" that will keep reminding you to maintain your health and give you tips on staying hydrated etc. You can turn off these messages provided you are 18.

PUBG Mobile has grown on both casual and competitive fronts in recent years, with over 100 million downloads on Google Playstore alone.
Game of Peace, which is the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile, is also as popular as the original mobile battle sensation and is one of the most downloaded games in China. However, players have always wondered why the Chinese version of the game is called Game for Peace and how it is different from the global version.
In this article, we take a look at the origin of Game for Peace and why it came to be known by that name.
Origin of Game for Peace, the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile
After successful negotiation over the publishing of the PC version of PUBG, Tencent Games- together with PUBG Corporation- announced that they were pursuing the mobile version of the popular battle royale. Two games were subsequently developed: PUBG: Exhilarating Battlefield by LightSpeed & Quantum Studio and PUBG: Army Attack by TiMi Studios.
PUBG: Exhilarating Battlefield was launched worldwide as PUBG Mobile after a soft release in Canada. However, the game couldn’t be released in China due to non-approval from authorities (SART, presently known as NRTA –National Radio and Television Administration), who thought the game was too violent. Due to the non-approval, the game could only be offered to players for testing. However, even by the end of January 2019, Tencent could not get PUBG Mobile approved.

In May 2019, Tencent Games announced that they no longer sought to publish PUBG Mobile in China and decided to release the game under a new name that met all the restrictions set by the authorities. According to the announcement, authorities already approved the game in April 2019 and the BETA version of Game for Peace was subsequently rolled out in May 2019 for players to test.

As the 7th largest country in the world, India stands apart from the rest of Asia, marked off as it is by mountains and the sea, which give the country a distinct geographical entity. Bounded by the Great Himalayas in the north, it stretches southwards and at the Tropic of Cancer, tapers off into the Indian Ocean between the Bay of Bengal on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west.
